Travel & Adventure Show 2019

The 2019 Travel and Adventure Show made it's Boston debut on February 11th and 12th. The show took place in the Hynes Convention Center and brought with it vacation options, travel keynote speakers including Samantha Brown, and family friendly experiences. One of those experiences was the ability to ride a camel named Eli. Eli, a rescue camel from Nebraska, was much obliged to give participants a "camel's eye view" of the show!

The Travel and Adventure Show takes place in a variety of cities including Philadelphia, Chicago, and Los Angeles. The show has been running for many years in other cities and made it's inaugural Boston visit this year.

Educational seminars abounded and brought travel inspiration for those with a case of wanderlust. For those who are active duty military, the show offered a free ticket along with four complimentary tickets for family members.

Here's to more travel and adventure than your 2019 can possibly contain!

Inbound 2018

Inbound 2018 brought its people first focus to the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center for four consecutive days. Deepak Chopra provided the keynote address.

The first tenet for attending Inbound was: actionable education and this year's Inbound provided a wide array of opportunities in that area. From studio fitness classes to 100+ ways to differentiate, the convention showcased a diverse group of professional growth and learning options. The other tenets of Inbound: endless inspiration, uproarious entertainment, and human connections. Networking opportunities also abounded as there was an #Inboundsolo Happy Hour for mixing and mingling.
Of note, the topic of engaging audiences through variety was presented. Recommendations for how to provide variety:
1) Vary your approach:

The Boston Winery

If you have find yourself asking,  "Self, where can find a winery in the city of Boston?" well your answer is here.

The Boston Winery at 26 Ericcson Street offers wine tasting, tours, wine education, and even wine making! Not only that, but the view from The Boston Winery is incredible. Located conveniently on the water, directly across from the University of Massachusetts Boston. If that's not enough, there is also ample parking available. If you go be sure to taste the dessert wine which is one of the best dessert wines out there. Inside note: if traveling there in winter be sure and dress in layers! (you can thank The Red Balloon later for including this note.)
